Q: How do I get notified of orders placed online if I don’t even know how to use email or run a website?
A: We activate special software inside your X-Cart package that automatically converts an online order confirmation to a fax and faxes that order direct to your local restaurant for fulfillment. No computer experience is necessary or required as long as you have a fax machine installed.
Q. Does X-Cart For Restaurants software integrate with my Point of Sale (PoS) system?
A: Not directly. XCart For Restaurants runs off an application through the Internet. Through your password protected account, however, you can export order details and history to another application. CSV extensions are fully supported.
Q: Do I have to switch my merchant services account in order to use X-Cart For Restaurants?
A: For the Gold plan, yes. We offer deep discounts off the software for restaurants who switch merchant service providers and we promise to “Meet or Beat” existing rate and fee structures. If you are unable to switch for contractual or exclusivity reasons, you can still purchase the Professional or Platinum plans.
